Andy Delmont will make his first-class debut, if given the nod in the starting XI to face the Victorian Bushrangers tomorrow.
The all-rounder opened the season with 134 for University against East Torrens and has been selected as a member of the squad to play in the day/night match at Adelaide Oval.
“Under Sorell, I have been focusing on making my cricket consistent across all levels including grade and first-class”, Delmont said this morning.
“I am wrapped this has paid-off and that I have been given this opportunity, it is a great honour to play for South Australia. Tait, is also scheduled to join Cullen, Cleary and Gillespie in the bowling line-up, while Lehmann’s match fitness continues to improve.
Selectors have named a 12-man squad with the starting XI to be named on the morning of the match. The West End Redbacks squad selected for Friday’s day/night match v the Bushrangers is:
Adcock (Capt)
Borgas C
Cosgrove
Cleary
Cullen
Delmont
Elliott
Gillespie
Harris D
Harris R
Manou

The only way for us to win is for our bowlers to bowl us to victory.
