Oh no - When I heard Nobes speak earlier this year that we wernt making any player changes I thought that they were kidding really.

I know it is only the first match but it aint makin me feel any better.

I wonder if Wayne Phillips is having a little chuckle about this.

Who cares about what he does, the less said about him the better.

Lehmann will add some much needed runs, and Tait well he can bowl fast he will take wickets. The team will still need shitloads of improvment if there to get off the bottom

as mentioned in the other thread Dizzy top scoring is a disgrace on the batsmen in the squad

DIZZY should bat at 5 for the rest of the year

What a disgrace. This is starting where we left off last season. SACA are to blame for such a sorry state of affairs.

A dent to the confidence like this will have a long impact...

Yeah you are right. Dizzy does something that a few top order fellas should look at. Its called putting value on your wicket.

And knees, I think the writing is on the wall when your number 10 is leading the runs!

Bring back Deitz. Last years second highest run scorer and consistently batted through the innings with the tail last season( would have been handy having him batting with dizzy)

Piss off Manou. Did nothing last season to justify a position in 4 or 1 day cricket this season. Apparently is good mates with Sorell which helps gain him a spot in the side.

There's more than meets the eye to the overlooking of Deitz. Yeah he did rock up to a fitness session after having a few beers the night before. But, he rocked up on time, completed the whole session and beat a lot of team mates home in the running drills.

He was supposedly left out for disciplinary reasons but they play Cosgrove who is obviously overweight and undisciplined.

Even the SACA website has been down all day..
Are they trying to hide something? Recent results maybe ?

In all honesty, why wouldn't we consider this?? Why not try shaming the batsmen for their lack of performance? You never know, Dizz could be good for a couple of 50's there before someone gets enough runs on the board to replace him anyway?

well he basically is batting at 5, just without the batting partners.

you bat at no.3 and you're basically an opener because in the first over or 2 there's bound to be a wicket lost

Why is it the majority of the state can see that Manou must make way for Deitz bar the selectors? Seriously how can he be our 'most valuable player' last season and be dropped next game, the excuse that he showed up to training under the weather doesnt wash with me.

Clearly playing 2 spinners is not a viable option on most decks either...
