He didn't hit the ball he caressed it.
Was at pub with a mate last night (who played in jnr rep teams with Martyn) and when he hit that cover drive on day 2 (off Hoggard I think) we both turned to each other and moaned.
I cant think of a better timer of the ball I've seen, M Waugh maybe.

Even Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson responded to this interview via Twitter. I doubt he knows what the **** even cricket is!Booney wrote:I was out last night so ran the CA app through the car to listen into the call, obviously no cricket was on but an excerpt of an interview with Andrew Strauss, Glenn McGrath and Jonathon Agnew was. Ruth Strauss passed away in December 2018 from a rare lung cancer. Day 2 at Lords will turn red for the Ruth Strauss Foundation much like Sydney turns pink for the McGrath Foundation.
Jonathon Agnew's wife is currently in remission from breast cancer. We all know the Jane McGrath story.
The podcast can be heard below. I'm not crying, you are.

Seems a bit negative to me, especially given we won the first test playing positive cricket.
