Squad has been named so no chance for this test unless someone pulls out.

Marnus wouldn’t want to fail this test though!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Has Hazelwood ever finished a 4 or 5 test series due to injury ?

Obviously they wont change it. But thats a made up rule right, as much as that if Australia want to add / take players out of that squad right up until the day of the test they could do that??

Or are squads actually official???

I think all of them have the next two matches, if India turn Boxing Day and Sydney into dead rubbers big changes will be made to keep interest.

via Tom Morris :

Nothing official from CA, but those close to Mitch Marsh believe it’s his back which is the concern & he almost certainly won’t bowl in Adelaide.

If this is the case, it’s a blow for Australia’s team balance. Labuschagne becomes the 4th seamer.

Marsh sent down 17 overs in Perth.

Across 2x Shield games, the white ball series v England/Scotland, IPL, Australia’s tour of NZ, & 2x Tests v WI in Jan, he bowled a total of 18 overs.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

The Lab is safe until after the boxing day test unless he gets a pair this game.
He might scratch around and get a few this test hopefully.
We need Smith, Him and Head to be at their best to beat this Indian attack.

hate to say it but i rkn usman and smith are finished, then you have new boy mcsweeney who has been thrown to the wolves leaving travis bison and carey to make the bulk of the runs, bison is inconsistent so its down to the 2 sa boys and the tail.
You cant win test matches with that sort of batting line up
Go The Tiges!!!

Agree he'll be given every opportunity and has at least two more tests

However, if this season is dead after Brisbane there'll be some serious questions asked about not only who's in the team but the whole methodology of how this team prepares.

Having said all that I genuinely hope Lab and Smith cash in this test and we give the curry munchers a right good touch up!

Ozzies have a good record in AO day night games
Keep Jasparit down to say, about 5 wickets for this test and the Ozzies should win
Its a pity Hazelwood is injured , but Boland is a good replacement
