Fair dinkum, Hauritz is a very AVERAGE spin bowler that gets lucky every now and then. In the team simply bcos of a lack of options. Bit like Peter Taylor years ago.

Is it not possible to give credit where it's due JJ? Two 5 wicket hauls in his last 2 tests. I'd suggest there is more than just luck involved.

Great stuff from Hauritz despite his critics still clutching at straws to discredit him.

Worst thing that could happen was Australia getting out of jail here. The win just wallpapers over the cracks in the side. Australia played ORDINARY and still won bcos of Pakistan CHOKING big time.

Improving more and more with every game and deserves his spot in the side.

What a win!!!!! Unbelievable that was. Can not believe we won it.

Super partnership between Hussey and Siddle and some top bowling, Hauritz bowled us to victory yet again, the bloke is improving all the time!

Pakistan really should have won that but they didn't, the mighty Aussies backed themselves all the way and came home with the goods!

Well said. He has improved out of sight and at the moment is by far and away the best spin bowler in the country. Maybe there are others with more talent but they need to start performing if they want to take Hauritz's spot.

Blah Blah Blah F*****g Katich, North, Cullen, Kreza etc etc etc would all have got the same amount of wickets against those chokers, it's just that Hauritz had the opportuinty. also 5 wicket hauls have to be put into perspective, Cheap wickets by slogging tailenders with no talent are hardly well earned prized scalps.

Try saying that century from Hussey was meaningless! Oh wait, we will use the Dutchy standard of judging players "it's only one century in a long time".

One century which went a long way to sealing the series victory; here's to more in the future.

He took just about the most important wicket too of Yousef, very very important dismissal and a super gutsy catch. I was never a fan of the bloke but now I am, he is starting to do his job very effectively and has sealed his spot for quite some time now!

It could have been so different had the keeper taken one of his three chances but Huss did what good players do and punished the opposition! It was a brilliant innings and we would never have set 170-odd without it.
