Shield finalist last year
2nd on the Shield ladder this year currently.
Missing Head, Zampa, Worrall, Mennie

Pretty harsh call, far from shite, but are young and inconsistent.

I seem to recall similar sentiments after the Shield final last season.

However it is apparent that neither the players or selection panel have learnt any lessons.

* this game is not over yet for either side. Cooper and Carey staying together is the key!

Why is that bloke standing on the chair at the scoreboard when the ladder is right next to him?

Strange down that way.

Obviously Siddons wants to encourage them to continue taking the game on - it's clear CA prefer players favour those who can entertain and score quickly. Sure they'll be inconsistent for a bit, but i think there will come a point it just clicks for them and they'll be well ahead of the rest... i hope haha

Carey fell for oldest trick in ball - captain cant get a wicket so brings on part time spin bowler and he breaks partnership. Then Cooper goes next over.

25 runs to get by the bowlers wont be easy.

Right lets put the heat on a few..

Dave Grant - bowled erratic, struggled to build partnerships with the others, put added pressure on Sayers/Richardson
Callum Ferguson - two failures with the bat, granted one was not so much his fault, but the skipper needed to step up in the 2nd dig.
Jake Lehmann - ran two bats out in the 1st dig, then slashes at one first ball faced on the lunch break
Jake Weatherald - throws his wicket away approaching lunch with the side travelling well and scoring quickly.
Booney - putting the SAFooty jinx on the 'backs with 30 to get.
