Nah just $$$
And it's their winter and no other T20 franchise tournaments are on at the moment.

It was a decent chase, but the bowling is pretty ordinary. Bazley bats 8 and doesn't bowl, Overton is the only decent import we have, I think the squad is not balanced, in fairness we should have probably won the 3 first games, now we are 1 and 3. The season looks like it is over unless we can change things around soon, we still have to play Scorchers x 2 and Sixers x 1 of our last 6 games!

Season over, sack Tim FFS, not having that second genuine seam bowler has killed us again!

Overton must bat before Ross to avoid the spoon which will be a battle between the Strikers and Stars.

Power Surge was the killer, OPope not really known as a big hitter is he?

Stars lose their 5th straight match

Bad news for SA as Sangha hurt his elbow/forearm again and McAndrew has "done a shoulder"

Gonna need it with our poor bowling line-up.

A message to Matthew Gilkes

You have Australias greatest t20 batter down the other end, stop hogging the strike and take a single.

Fraser-McGurk watch- 26 (27) tonight, dismissed caught and bowled by Chris Green. More than doubled his recent average.

That was a certainty

Thought it was a bit of charity from Perth throwing the ball around when they could have brought on Dorf to finish it.

Jamie Overton v Finn Allen
A barrage of verbals directed at each other in the PS innings
After one of the confrontations Overton bowled the next ball to Allen who played a lofted cover driver for 6 !!!
On another occasion Jamie MANKADED Allen and let him off with a warning- that was extremely sporting considering the circumstances

AS were 8/58
Made 8/142
Doggett 47*
Boyce 29*
Brilliant partnership
Lloyd Pope did not bat

PS were 2/5
Made the target in 14.3 overs
Allen 50 [23]
Turner 35* [18]
Connelly 48* [35] was caught behind on about 4, it appears no one appealed ....
