Nope. Quinney at three it will be. A huge improvement on Marsh from last season. Watto out is huge for us tho. Easily our most important player.

With Watson out surely the selectors could have done worse than replacing him with the Redbacks' Shield Number 3.

Looking at most of our test batsmans form over the last week or two against a less than lethal attacks a few here are going to have to stand up big time.

Thing in our favour is that the game is at the Gabba and more than likely to have 3 days rained out ;)

Hasn't been raining up here much lately which is unusual for this time as you have noted.

Aussies will win the series
The biggest bunch of pea hearted underachievers in world cricket will choke as favourites once again.
For a mouthy bunch they aint much good at backing it up, one series win against us since they came back, what a pack of jokers.
Davy boy to be leading runscorer of series and hopefully belt wank steyn out of the attack.
Will get to see what flat track bullies DeVilliers and Amla are.
Come on Aussies smash these c**ts!!!!

:? Don't think South African pitches are flat tracks, and their biggest asset is their bowling attack IMO. If they can get through the Aussie top order then we are in trouble.. but time will tell, I wouldn't be underestimating them that's for sure

I hope we win this series, but don't think we will.

1 test each, and 1 draw, I think is a good chance of happening.

They just caned the Poms in England. Hardly the stuff of front runners. Amla is arguably the best batsman in the world today and they've got De Villiers as a keeper..not a bad bat for a wickey. Our top order is suspect and and we are playing against the world's best Test Attack. I hope you are right Jimbo but I've got a horrible feeling you couldn't be more wrong.

I may end up being horribly wrong but ive heard this kind of talk plenty of times from the Saffers and they have failed to produce.
Its ironic that the only series they have won over here was when Smith and co shut their mouth and let their cricket do the talking. Everytime they have opened their traps they have disappointed.
Quite amusing that Donald is talking their bowling up as he was one of the chief instigators of most of their past failures. We know their bowling is high quality without him ramming it home at every media interview

I think what ur forgetting is there previous loses were against arguably the greatest test sides in the history of the game. The current Saf side is just as good if not better than any side they have brought over before and unless you haven't seen much cricket lately we are a shadow of a side we use to be.

Siddle/Lyon will hardly have there stomachs quivering like McGrath/Warne did nor will Cowan/Warner compared to Hayden/Langer
