Peter Forrest made his 50th run in the series in this game
Only took him 96 balls

Matthew Wade , going awful with the bat, bit embarrassing for me after pumping his tyres all summer

BATTING AFTER 4 GAMES

84 [102] WATTO
91 [130] WARNER
50[96] FORREST
149[234] M HUSSEY
109[141] D HUSSEY
153 [216] BAILEY
20 [58] WADE
36 [46] CHRISTIAN

Strike rates are collectively low
The best effort per ball is D Hussey with 57 [54]
Apart from that there have been no substantial run a ball match winning efforts by the recognised batsmen

Brett Lee 59[48] has shown up the batsman

Bit rough isnt it? Wasnt too many years ago he was loved and adored by all and talk was he was on the cusp of being named as a bowling all-rounder.

He may be past it and he may act like a knob but at least he plays with pride and love for his country and you know he is always going to give you 110%.. which is something I would question of others..

Very true PG.

I have always admired his fighting capabilities. Some of the knocks he has played at the end of the innings, in both forms have been amazing to watch and inspirational.

Not sure why he is in the ODI side now considering the world cup is 3 years away

Giving Brett Lee a game is respect
He still does a good enough job
He gives 4,000% every time he plays
I consider Brett at his peak as being the best ODI bowler Australia has ever produced

He was dropped because his form was sh1thouse.

Lee is still contributing and the world cup is still 3 freaking years away.
Still plenty of time to blood others -it's not like there aren't many 1 dayers to be played.

Brett Lee's last over was a shocker, but he came back to bowl 1 over WTF?

Surely he should have 3 overs in a spell? Poor management I reakon.

Our batting has sucked for a while now in the 50 over stuff.

Aus 9/281
Warner 69
Watson 66
Forest 53
Watto and Davy boy put on 118 for 1st wicket.
Windies 251
Lee 3/42
Windies were 7/118 but once again we couldnt finish them off quickly and the 8th wicket partnership was 101

Chris Gayle, the former West Indies captain, has signed a CARICOM-brokered agreement with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), but with a 'side-letter' whose contents are yet to be disclosed.
However, questions still remain over any Gayle comeback to the West Indies side. He is contracted to represent Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL from April 4 to May 27 and Somerset in England's domestic Twenty20 tournament later in the summer.

I always thought it was the best player in a match. Very individual game, not his fault his team stayed home that day!
