Its time we all rally in these troubled Sheffield Shield times
Im going to the oval today to lend my support
It promises to be an exciting finish
Not having star batsmen Max Klinger and Clem Hill in the side could be the difference

6 for... and only 2 batsmen have scored a run - is this the most pathetic state side ever?

Absolutely pathetic! They deserve everyone at the oval to stand up and boo them at every chance.

Time for 2 divs in shield cricket. We should be relegated and play against ACT and NT

I agree i think they have just been a tad unlucky the last few years. Throw in the favourtismn by cricket Australia to NSW and i think you can pin point those reasons for our downfall ;)

At lunch we have powered along to 6/99. Smith, Lyon, Blizzard, Christian, and Manou all made 0. Borgas made 20. Harris is on 47 and Bailey is on 20. Expecting it to be over before tea!

20/20 win will be enough to gloss over the cracks for another 12 months.

I went there today
Myself, and the other about 218 spectators didnt boo the team
Ive just come home
Very poor, and Im not talking about the cricketers

SA only had to see off FELDMAN who LOOKed dangerous and Jimmy Hopes
With Swan and Neser injured, the QL attack had no depth

By the time I left HARRIS + BAILEY were facing BOYCE + FLOROS. perhpas the worst spin bowlers seen in tandem at the Oval

SA 6/99
DOC 47* very scratchy
BAILEY 20* puts a price on his wicket

The BORGAS LBW appeared not out
MANOU might have missed tha ball that dimissed him, he stood at the creases for a while

HOPES was awesome
bowled a 9-10 over spell and took 4 wickets
9-10 overs would be about a 2-3 spells for RICHO ......
Yep QL kept HOPES going and it paid off
Without the HOPES spell, this would have been an easyish win for SA today

This is worse usually we are out of the 4 Day comp after the first round of games but then win a few games on the way in with good performances and show promise for the upcoming season.

This year we are just getting worse and worse and worse as each game goes on.

I love Christo, but what the heck have been his SS scores over the past 2-3 matches?

Has he made more than 5 in an innings? Seems like he's making 0 or 1.
