Johnnie Walker trivia.

How tall is John Hastings when wearing heels and is it tall enough to get him a test spot ?

Your idea of performing is certainly consistent with that of a Tasman cricketer....

not happy with a 25* of 24 balls and a wicket. I think the selectors would be pretty happy with the way Smith is chipping in in most innings with either the bat or ball.

SMITH 7/84[16] this series
and making runs as well
when you are the 5th bowler batting at 8, thats a great effort this series

The only upshot is the way EG has played him, they have made him look good this series

absolutley spot on the money re Smith once again Mal.

Smith his playing IS ROLE in the side perfectly.

The selectors arent picking him in the side to hit 100's and get 5 fors.

His batting at 7 and bowling as a fifth bowler.

I think they would be happy if he bats with a strike rate over 100 and if his bowling economy remains under 5 an over with the occasional wickets.

GEEZ if Smith was hitting 100's it probably means the top 6 are batting awful to give him the chance to bat for that long.

Mal, 3 of those wickets have been from dumb Poms hitting half trackers straight to fielders. His batting has been diabolical, law of average has seen him finally go ok in the last two digs...only ok mind you

He's a lovechild, born with a silver spoon it seems

Yep no doubt the EG batsman have not batted well against him
Theyve tried to attack him, and he has destroyed them
Why dont they just respect him and bleed him for a few runs per over

As for his diabolical batting
You need diabolical batsman who bat 7-8 and come in norMALly with 10 overs to go

EG 198
KP 40[51] looked very correct and hit the ball really well
BELL 36[61] bit slow, but at least he gritted it out
PRIOR 14[15] who knows how he batted, channell 9 should give the cricket to ABC/SBS or FOX
ANDERSON 20*[31] ''step back a little your fallin' luv ''
FINN 35[24] didnt know he could bat this well

LEE 2/21[7] the old fella still hazit on our decks
DOUGGGGGIE 2/57[9] if only he was fit for the Test series
JOHN0196 2/35[9] He will be walking tall after this effort ....
SMITH 1/29[8] another good contribution
WATTO 3/25[4.3] the worlds 2nd best batting allrounder is bowling amazingly thesedays
MJ 0/29[8] hit loud mouth [the bowling loud mouth] so can be happy with that

AU win the ODI series, leading 4-1

Who will replace MARSH who pulled his WATTOstring next game ?
WHITE bat at 3, and bring in CHRISTIAN or FERGUSON ?

Feel Sorry for Marshy, just cant get his Body right. hope its not too bad. but if Huss cant take his spot in the World cup and Marsh cant replace him it will open a spot for Ferguson. But if Marsh is unfit for the final two matches Ferguson will probably be drafted in to the Aussie Squad and miss the Big Bash final and he will be twelve man, the selectors will play Paine as a batsman.

Good call Joker on Paine
Would be a common sense thing to do
Play PAINE as he has been spectating the 20/20 TA games of late and needs a hit
Allow the SA boys to play the 20/20 final

IF Marsh didnt get injured + AU won tonight, perhaps PAINE would have got a gig to allow HADDIN a rest next game ?

i dont think Haddin will want to give up his spot after losing his spot in the T20 side
