Where does Afridi sit on the "most wickets" Brod?

He'd be right up there you'd think!

Bump....

So mid way through his first season out of SA, do we think 1. Tassie is ahead in the signing of Cossie, 2. SA are better off without him 3, The jury is still out or 4, Both teams are ahead?

Personally I see it as a win win so far.

SA couldn't afford to keep him. If we do then we forgive him ignoring all those people telling him he had to be a "team player". He didn't perform far enough ahead of the rest to get special treatment. His fitness and weight issues cost us with running between wickets and in the field, so how many runs per innings did he lose us? Certainly too many to forgive a 40.0 average. This way we tell all our players that nobody is above the team rules, something Berry says we need to improve further.

Cossie has the last laugh but probably a win for Cos and the Redbacks in the end. Cossie showed he had talent and determination and the Redbacks hierarchy showed some balls. It's just a shame that it had to end this way for both parties.

The SACA got this wrong, not that they will ever admit, sure they showed balls, but what they showed balls in doing was a complete cock up. so no credit for that. Dont worry im sure they have another import teed up who can fulfill there potential

I'm not so sure about that. I reckon one of the reasons why Cossi has had such a good year is because he had a point to prove. A gold pass from the saca was never going to motivate Cosgrove. Good call on the imports though but where is the talent going to come from?

Cosgroves 511 runs last year at 42 with 2 hundreds was not exactly a terrible year though, and in no way shows him not living up to his potential as they put it. This year was 800 at 50 yeah, but in 3 more games with the same amount of hundreds

pure and simply cossie ran out of chances with the hierachy, whilst we all loved him he jacked most of us off with his lack of professionalism and unwillingness to toe the line and get fit, obviously tassie dont have an issue with him being overweight but how long will that last? in the long run the only person he is letting down is himself
