That guy getting hit on the nose, an inch higher and it would have been a copy of the KFC ad.

The crowd better be on their guard when Afridi comes in.

Harris knew he was in with a better chance of making the Australian team by moving to either Qld or NSW, he moved, he got in the team, good on him. ;)

I'm only going by the famous charter, everyone knows it gets 50% easier to get into the Australian team if you don't play for SA. ;)

If Manou and Cullen can play for aussie thats all just a myth about SA. We haven't had anyone deserve it for ten years now. Hodge hasn't played much he deserves it more then anyone. We have to look inward why we aren't getting picked not blaming others. We haven't won a lot in the last 15 years.

Klinger has been outstanding over the past two seasons and never even gets mentioned, let alone 13th man; Lehmann took so long to get in the side; if Ferguson was Michael Clarke he would have been in the Test side already before the knee injury; yes I know Healy was quite rightly the best keeper at the time, but Nielsen never even got a chance in a ODI. Gillespie also got shafted after the Ashes 2005 - the Bangladesh tests along with Cullen were just token matches.

Then you consider that Henriques has played ODIs!

Maybe Ryano has a better coach too now. There are cases for lots of peopple to get games from every state. Lehmann was the only one with a real case. Fergy was a bit lucky to get a game but has done well. Klinger was crap for 8 years and has had a good year last year so he needs to prove it wasn't a fluke. Who should he replace????? When you watch him he doesn't look a test player to me.

Dont agree, i think his 1st lookin into was for the Johnny Walker XI i think it was start of last season, that was off the back of a monster season for SA the season before, he has taken him chances since then... IMHO SACA made a massive boo boo letting him go! Imagine the SS side now if he was still here, throw in george, cleary, bailey i reckon looks bit of alright and he can bat too!

Yep, Motza had everything to do with it.

QLD approached him, he accepted the offer for more reasons that one - family up there, better pitches for his style of bowling are just two of them.

He wouldn't be playing for Australia if he were still in Adelaide because his results would not be as good.

Not dis-similar to Shane Watson or Mitch Johnson then?

Doesnt it make you sick to think that your best chance to crack the aussie side is to play for the eastern states? (QLD, NSW)

Kind of what I said...not really, but you always get more chances as a bowler in NSW or Qld than in SA. Just goes to show how good a bowler Gillespie was - too good in fact, with all those play and misses, nicks that didn't carry etc.

And injuries. He would be a 400 test wicket bowler with a double ton to his name if it weren't for those damned injuries.
