Am i correct in saying that if we get done for a slow over rate again that Ricky Ponting will be suspended due to him being fined numerous times in the last 12 months for slow over rates?

He deserves too. The way he just wanders to the other end between overs is a disgrace. His constant whinging to the batsmen and umpires is also a disgrace.

Agree. I reckon watching him bat is great, and whilst he's not the greatest captain Australia has had he is still pretty good...
BUT if it will finally bring this issue to a head then I am all for it.

Just a thought Windies for the next test should drop Gayle make Chanderpaul captain and have the batting order like this.

1. A.Barath
2. T.Dowlin
3. R.Sarwan
4. S.Chanderpaul (c)
5. D.Bravo
6. B.Nash
7. D.Ramdin (wk)

At least that batting line up would have a bit of heart in it and could rely on inspiration from their captain. At worse they may atleast bat a fair bit of time, which would put more pressure on the Aussies when batting.

62.3
Watson to Chanderpaul, OUT, another loose forward prod from Chanders to one pitching closer to off stump, there's a noise before Haddin collects, no reaction from the umpire and we have a review. For the second time involving Chanderpaul, several replays are reviewed and again Hotspot is inconclusive. Is it bat flipping pad? Australia don't look pleased. Second time Chanders has been involved in a caught-behind review. Ponting, who asked for the review, leads the celebrations when the outcome is OUT. Hotspot didn't show anything but the review works for the Australians this time. Chanders is gone for a fighting 62.

well the umpire review system just lost one supporter. how can a tv spectator possibly know if it hit the bat. no hot spot showed up which would suggest it didn't. very bad sign from rauf if there the calls he is going to change

62.6
Watson to Ramdin, OUT, two in the over! Watson gets Ramdin with a loose shot to one outside off stump, he tries to push it from the crease off the back foot but gets an inner edge onto the stumps

Wot a Total F^cKN JOKE this review process is.
NO definitive evidence to suggest Chanderpaul hit and then somehow the decision is reversed.
How can anyone take Test cricket seriously anymore with this ramshackle of a system in place to decide on dismissels? Review system was put in place to correct obvious errors and tho in theorey it should work, the ******* idiots that operate it have NFI or CONSISTENCY in their decisions.
