If Broad could bowl with a little more venom he'd be a very handy cricketer, his batting has been exceptional.

Prior and Trott at the crease with Prior looking uncomfortable against Siddle.

If we can have them 6/7 for 300 at the end of the day i think we would take the honours. The pitch is very flat.

Would you settle for 8 maybe :) Good call.

I was one ball away from being about spot on :D :D .

Why so sad Locky?

After seeing them race to 2/170 odd we have done exceptionally well to have them in the position we are now. If we clean them up early tomorrow we should get to bat on the pitch whilst it is still in reasonable condition, because it won't be too good come days 3,4 and 5 IMO.

We will need to have a lead of 100-125 on the first innings to be in a position to win this one.

England all out for 332.

Siddle 4 fa
Hilf 3 fa
Johnson 2 fa
Katich one freaky run out

Australia will be looking to be 4/5 for 280 at the end of the day, provided they get the full days play.

Yep one of them was very out hitting the top of middle and leg. Only problem was all the appeal came from behind the stumps, i feel Watsons attempt to flick the ball to fine leg may have deceived both Flintoff and more importantly Asad Rauf as to the line of the ball.

Bowdens decisions off Andersons bowling were both very good. Close but too much height and the batsmen got the benefit of the doubt.

WATTO bowled an unlucky spell yesterday and could easily have picked up 1-2 wickets
Today he batted abysMALly early and survived about 4,356,876,345,098,200 LBW appeals
One of those was absolutely plumb

2 quite remarkable things have happened this series
Watson not been dismissed below 50 in Test matches [YET]
Watson not been injured

I was bewildered when the Safooty iconic allrounder got a gig this series for Hughes but once again those Australian selectors have got it right again

The metro sexual, bonds singlet wearing, Watson is surprising us all.
Had a solid series. Lets hope he doesn't stub his toe.

LOng term who is the better option? Hughes or Watto.
I think they dropped Hughes a little too early.
He'd just peeled a few centuries of Steyn and co.
Watto has done nothing other than keep the physio busy.
