Broad is a half century not out for Queensland
The young man was unfairly singled out by a group of rowdy spectators
Broad was called various rude names, security warned the hecklers not to use abusive language.
At stumps several ploice officers were called in to calm the situation with the group

Sure the lads had a few to drink and are entitled to barrack but

Bailey was giving the ball some air, and it paid off to get rid of a player of immense FC experience (and a player had he been 5 years younger now would be in the Test side) in Love. After his well earnt century, Manou chopped one onto the stumps and then Bailey and O'Brien kept the runs going before Manou declared with exactly half the days play gone. This match may be only for first innings points, but if anyone can win it outright from here, it is the Redbacks.

Regardless of whether he is fat, lazy or any other thing the one thing he is without question is one of the best batsmen in the state. He proved it today and proved why he needs to be in the side.

you are way off the mark son, there are certain standards that players have to meet and mark has decided that those standards dont apply to him, everyone who is remotely interested in cricket knows the guy can play, unfortunately he is his own worst enemy

Firstly don't call me son. Secondly as for standards Cossie has set one not many other can do in this state and that is make runs. You might not like it but a fat, lazy unfit Cosgrove is still a better player than most in the state (not that he is lazy or unfit). Get over it. He doesn't need to do anything other than make runs. He is a cricketer not an athlete. If other players work harder, are fitter and weigh less that is good for them but unless they can make more runs then they can bugger off. Hard work doesn't always pay off and people need to accept that in life some things come more naturally to some.

how about the media? they are as much to blame as anyone, love him when he is making them, then critisise him to the cows come home when he doesnt. unless you know him personally to know what his 'mistakes' are then pipe down

I think you would be very surprised if you knew Mark's fitness scores then. The real reason for his run of low scores is the pressure the armchair critics and the media are placing on him. He has finally got it together and put some scores on the board to get himself an opportunity agian only to be cut down by people such as yourself who judge a book by its cover.

No point arguing with these people heater. Cossie is playing first class cricket. His critics aren't and are perhaps a little jealous that no matter how hard they work it will never come as easily to them. I'm sure Cossie won't lose any sleep over it as he recounts his latest century.

cossie lacked professionalism that is the reason why he was on the outer. Basically it is all about looking after your self and eating the right foods and etc. which all comes in professionalism, cossie will never look skinny as he is big bone.

i originally made the point what everyone in the cricket world know pal, i hope he scores runs everytime he bats, i dont hate the guy, as a consensus cricket fans particularly here are frustrated at seeing such a huge talent go down the toilet, tell me that isnt true, as for having a chip on my shoulder - look at your reply to my first post

he has let his supporters and himself down big time over the last 3 seasons, what are the cricket fans of SA supposed to do? how much weight has he lost? not much going by the pic in the paper. If he fails in the next couple of digs you and the likes of rod rooster will slink back into your corner. I hope he proves me and everyone else wrong, i would love to see him do a hookesy and score 5 tons in a row
