Exactly - I knew them all, if only by name.

It always amazes me Simon Davis only played one test. Not because he was any good, but because he was around the team so much in the mid to late 80s. Was a good one day bowler.

It was the 85-86 one day season he did so well in. I think he played his one test at the end of that season in NZ. In the 86-87 one day season the West Indies and Ian Botham smashed him around more than the opponents in 85-86. Botham famously took to him for 26 runs in one over in Perth.

I think he was finished by 1987-88 but never got back to the heights of 85-86

Bob Massie was hardly a one Test wonder. Sure, he took 16 wickets in his first Test, but he was a successful member of the 1972 Ashes series. 31 Test wickets in 6 Tests is hardly a One Test wonder.

He also bowled with success against the World XI in 1971-72, taking 7/76 at the SCG. Victims included Garfield Sobers, Graeme Pollock, Sunil Gavaskar, Zaheer Abbas, Hilton Akkerman, Asif Masood and Bishen Bedi. That list reads like a who's who in Test history, and if that's being a One Test wonder then give me more of it.

He did play his test in NZ. I think it might have been the test in which Matthews scored a tonne but more importantly, a toilet seat was thrown on to the field, while Mo was pelted with eggs.

Khawaja and Beer can be added to the list.

Khawaja is no 1 test wonder. Even if ponting comes back someone else will have to make way.
Agree on beer though. The guy cant buy a wicket at ss level

Khawaja should have been on and off this list at least 3 Tests ago.

Copeland and Lyons added.
Kwhaja removed.
Asterix removed from Manou's name, given he's retired.
Will we remove the asterix from George and McKay's name?

Seems so. Will there be a two spinner deck on this tour? I'm sure Lyons will get more than one shot to prove his worth, otherewise you wouldn't pla him in the first test.
