I still think we need to be 370 up to have a shot but am hearing plenty reckon we can defend 220

my opinion only, i'd think we'd need at least a 300 lead & probably 60 runs more than that....what do the cricket gurus think ?

360 lead needed spot on
Except EG only had 1 innings left not 3

Great victory by the Australians, thought some pretty poor cricket played by England as well.

Highlights in this test from Australia for me:

Johnson's spell where he demolished the upper and mid order was sensational. His batting also helped pull us out of a hole

Hussey, keeps on keeping on, had a rest for a while now firing on all cylinders

Watson, class at the top of the order, the hundreds will come

Harris, pitched the ball up and bowled in ther right areas, used the pitch and conditions to his advantage.

Fielding: A great improvement in that area right across the board by the Australians.

Now we wait till boxing day, lets hope the Aussies take their form to that Test

Any coincidence that when we show some fire and dish out the sledging we play good cricket?
Good to see us dish some back to those pricks.
Prior is an absolute tool, make some runs before you mouth off idiot. Would have loved to see siddle take him up on his offer and kick the absolute crap out of him. How about getting your body behind the ball and not batting on the square leg umps toes you blouse.

And another dopey skipper who sent the opposition in and lost a Test Match

you are kidding arent yas????

FFS they were cruising at 0-70

at some stage teams will have periods where the batting can capitulate

I guess G. Smith shouldnt have sent india in either in the current test
