Quite a few, Normally the mods are an over-sensitive pack of so and so's, but in this case I'm siding with the mods.

is George injured? surely he'd get a bowl ahead of Ferguson! Brother went yesterday and said the spinners were left on too long, Worrall should have been brought back on towards the end

George was the least used bowler on the first innings. But at 16 overs, 2 wickets for 56 went for a little under 3 runs an over. Pretty good effort on paper.
Why wasn't he used more in the first innings?
Why wasn't he used at all in the 2nd innings?
Why did we abandon play with 13 minutes left and 4 tail end wickets between us and victory?
Waiting for answers.

Yes I cant understand a team playing for nearly four days only to call it off with 2-3 overs remaining.
Should be played to the very last ball

Its a long season. But plenty 2 like about juniors. Sed it before and say it again Botha should bring that arrogant hard nosed approach. Ludeman on stats looked liked he batted well. Anybody that was there did they see, an positives? Young Batters? Was Worrall swinging it much?

Hard to tell when we have to watch the game from side on.

Also after being to the last 2 one dayers there, gee it's F**Kn hard to pick up the red ball from side on in the shield game compared to the white ball.

Some good signs from this match:
Ferguson's big hundred.
5 batsmen averaged over 40 across both innings (Klinger 48 & 40 av 44, Ferguson 164 & 18 av 91, Ludeman 78 & 25 av 51.5, Botha 31no & 11 av 42, Christian 14 & 71 av 42.5)
All round performance of Christian taking 4/81 in the first innings and scoring 71 in the second.
Our bowlers actually took wickets, (remember Tasmania scored 3/403 dec. Which included a run out.): George 2/56, Christian 4/81 and in the second dig Worral 3/36 and Lyon 2/42.
Not headlines stuff but definitely good signs that we're going in the right direction. Reminds me a little of the early eighties when SA would regularly score high 200's with only 2 batsmen passing 20 (usually it was a combination of Hookes/Inverarity or Hookes/Zadow) but eventually lifted in all regions of the game to win the Shield. I reckon we are close to taking a game by the scruff and having a good win.
Would like to know what happened to George though. More input from him for the match may have brought us some points against Qld.

Sounds like George has done something very wrong.
Would be highly doubtful he will be picked again if that is right that he has been dropped.

I can't be bothered going back through the posts but did'nt someone mention on here about some players being out late during the match, was he one of them?
