1121 runs scored b4 spin broke its virginity this Test
That is a staggering stat
Perhaps the selectors will take note for the Perth Test

Harris will play in Perth IMO
Why else would he have been pulled from tonights game?
Apparantly flew to Sydney yesterday to join squad.
Would think Watto and Harris in, Lyon and Marsh/Cowan out

I think Pattinson may be rested for Harris to come in.

Surely not.
Have to play 4 quicks at the WACA.
Give Lyon a rest before his home test.

It will be an unchanged team for the Perth test. Only one shield side ( redbacks ) have played a 4 day match without a spinner. And they have done ok at the Waca this year.

DC could come in for Lyon.

I would think you would only drop Lyon to fit in another quick.

If Lyon is out...replace him with a top line bowler...not an average bowler batsmen in Christian.

No room for Watto?

of coarse he would come in if ready. But they haven't even said he can play a twenty20 yet. And if he can't play in the big bash he won't play the Perth test. I think Australia day test may be his comeback

If he plays in Perth who goes out, Marsh or Cowan?
Maybe play Watto at 3, give Warner and Cowan some time together.
Good prediciment to be in

Watson will open and Cowan will go out. But a failure for marsh in his first home test and he will propably lose his spot for Adelaide. Cowan is too slow for a number 3

Would Watto and Warner be too similar paced scorers to bat together?
I like the idea of a quick scorer being paired with an accumulator to open, probably why id bat Watto at 3.
