I checked the weather forecast when we were getting smacked the other day and there was a slight chance of rain today and tomorrow I think but the forecast didn't go into a lot of detail.

Going by cricinfo commentary it sounds like he should have taken it, the keeper could be the difference between Pakistan winning and losing (or drawing mal ).
