What the hell? you don't get points for a draw?

So disappointing considering we had them in all sorts in their first innings.

Im flabbergasted

Do we still keep putting up with this carp?

:D I think this was the best effort in the last 12 months, therefore something to build on.

Please remember we are now coming from a long way back. :)

Many positives that need to be reinforced do not change the squad now!

WCP I find it ironic that you stick up for a spud like Botha but bag the piss out of Steve Smith.
I know which bloke id rather have on my side, Smith is 10 times the cricketer Botha is!!
You hate Smith, I hate Botha, if that makes me weak then so be it
Nowhere on this thread have I bagged any other SA player apart from Botha.

Steve Smith don't wear a red hat, Botha comes to us, he's one of us. And you got to be kidding, your the most negative poster on this site.

I bag Smith when he continually gets offered up for national duties, he goes ok at Domestic level.

Thats where we disagree, he is not one of us, never will be.
So angry at the SACA for wasting a spot on him when we could of grabbed a decent Australian player instead of a washed up hack who is coming for a bit of coin.
We could have got Smith or Khawaja and most people would welcome either of those just as we have to other imports we have in our ranks

Where's the Thread Gone?

Postby therisingblues » Sat Oct 27, 2012 12:39 am

SA vs Qld Shield game, where's it gone?
I spent a fair bit of ime compiling scorecards on it, in the belief that I'd be able to access those scores at any time. I even envisioned perhaps copying them all and creating a scores thread, like a Shield cricket 12/13 scores Wiki.
If the thread can't be recovered can I at least have a why?
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

I'm with u TRB, WTF happened to it FFS !!!!!

FWIW, i thought Qld gave the chase away too early, something i didn't think they'd do especially with Boof as coach. Would've thought he would've encouraged them to have a dip at it a bit longer than what they did.

Probably due to the shield scoring system jim.

I would much prefer to see the county points system where points are allocated for runs and wickets within the first 110 overs of each 1st innings and then points for the win loss and draw

I removed the thread while I cleaned it up, deleted the slanging match that occurred. The thread is back now, any more abuse of posters will not be tolerated, you can debate whatever point you want, but do so without the attacks on fellow posters.
