Doesn't look half the bowler he was in the australian summer. Facts are if he isn't swinging the ball his a dime a dozen bowler. And if he is t swinging the ball surely Bird is a better option?

Got a bit sloppy at the end there but overall a fairly impressive effort in the field. Thought Bailey captained very well and the bowlers apart from Starc were disciplined.

England 6/269

Probably about 10-15 runs short in those conditions BUT i dont really rate our batting line up so think we will finish 40 odd short.

6/269

Probably a 50/50 game at the innings break. The key for me like any form or any grade of cricket is early wickets. Especially with the currant australian middle order so obviously the key wicket will be at the top of the innings with Warner, Watson and Hughes.

Faulkner says 300 is par what a dickhead.

The only thing I love about playing cricket is knowing you have the ability to single handedly win the game for your side. It's just a matter now of who will stand up to win the game for his side.

I think I might back Broad in to do the job. Saying that tho it's a pretty flat deck with no movement so Warner could tee off.
One things for sure this is set to be a good game of cricket.

Warner gone caught behind slashing at a wide one from Broad

Aus 1-17 (5.5)

England taking the same approach as Aus, trying to choke the Aussie batsmen into rash shots.

Big test for Hughes now. With no bounce I can't see him playing shots square of the wicket needs to cement his spot here.

10 Overs

Aus 1/35

Slow going but in fairness England bowling well, they havent selected a specialist 5th bowler so you would expect the Aussies to look to attack Tredwell, Bopara, Root when they bowl.

Hughes dropped again, another tough chance this time it was Bell.

England now bowling Bopara & Root

The Aussies really have to go after these two.
