The maintenance person at Adelaide Oval has been made redundant with Christian moving to Victoria.

West End Redbacks finalise 2013/14 contract list

The West End Redbacks can today confirm the final contract list for the 2013/14 season, with opening batsman Sam Raphael and u19’s batsmen, Alex Gregory and Kelvin Smith (rookies) filling the final spots.

Along with newly signed duo, Andrew McDonald and Adam Zampa, the Redbacks were able to retain 14 required players from last year’s squad.

The full contract list includes 19-year-old left-hand batsman, Travis Head, who has been upgraded from a rookie contract following his first full season in first-class cricket.

After making his debut in January 2012, Head has played 14 Bupa Sheffield Shield matches, making 660 runs at 25.38 including five half-centuries, top scoring with 95 not out against the Warriors in Perth.

Right-arm paceman, Daniel Worrall has also been upgraded onto the senior list after his first season in domestic cricket.

The Redbacks have rookie-listed left-hand batsman, Alex Carey, who debuted for South Australia in February 2013.

Whats 15K ?

If it's a serious enough breach of the rules, make it a million or dockem points for next season.

Just cant see what message the ACB are sending by making it only 15K.

The Scorchers today confirmed it had signed Adam Voges, Shaun Marsh, Mitch Marsh, Patrick Cummins, Ashton Agar, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Jason Behrendorff and Tom Triffitt for the new season.
