what tension in that last session, great test match cricket, poms rode their luck, thought when monty got his single that the fielder may have kicked it to the boundary, glad he didnt as not really in the spirit, ian smith thought of it!

Pretty sure in the rules somewhere that if a fieldsman DELIBERATELY knocks, throws, kicks the balls over the boundary, it counts as 4 overthrows. Havent yet seen it happen tho.

Very unlucky NZ, had by far the better of the series but just couldn't quite nail it.

Sadly there is too many of these gutless violent acts in society these days, often being drug and alcohol related.
Hope the gutless pricks are caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law which unfortunately too often is manifestly inadequate.
