Clarke loves Lyon. There hasent been much help for spinners on the test wickets this year. MCG and SCG will help him

McGrath and Walsh never needed to be rested and they played forever.

Today's fast bowlers are to top heavy, with tree trunk arms and f**k off chests.

McGrath, Walsh, Ambrose, McDermott, hadlee, Khan. The list goes on and on. These sports scientists are destroying bowlers by not allowing the new wave harden their bodies for test cricket. "You bowled 50 overs in the last 10 days, you better not do anything for 2 weeks". Any coincidence that since Australia started this rotation policy, we have hardly had a bowler stay fit for more than 2 tests.

Good luck to anyone who would have the guts to tell any of those bowlers they were being spelled.

Starc earned another immediate shot, hilf should never have played and mj was a straight swap. Now we blood another player, although I did mention his name during the India series.

What a joke that they're resting Starc. He deserves an opportunity to cement his place in the side. If Australia is at full strength he probably isn't in the best XI anyway so give him every opportunity, especially while his confidence is high.
