From what i have seen/heard of Clarke

5hithous person, innovative, couragous, attacking, thoughtful Captain.

His captaincy is very refreshing to see in a day and age where most just do the cliche.

I find it interesting what people think of such sporting identities.

I couldn't care less whether Michael Clarke is a good bloke or not. To me his role is being the Australian Cricket Captain so all i care about is how he performs in that role. I for one love the way he captains and i love the fact that he is good mates with Warnie and there seems to me to be a bit of Warnie's outlook on cricket coming out in Clarke.

People may say they are both shit blokes and i don't care if they are or not but the way they both see the game and how aggressive they are when they are the decision makers.

Just watched a the replay of last nights cricket.

Nathan Lyon as a number 11 was remarkable. He really does look good. On top of the top score in South Afcrica (14!) and the NZ test where he nearly got us home with Warner. If he manages to hang in the team with steadily improving bowling, it's only a matter of time til he drags Oz across the line in a tight one.

Great start by Harris grabbing one in the 3rd over of the day with Deonarine gone for 21. As plumb as they come.

Lyon just dropped a dolly off of Siddle's bowling and Sammy batting. 6/103 should have been 7/102 and really amongst the tail.

Yeah would have been a real chance to skittle them with a lead of less than 175.

Thankfully didn't cost us too much as he has just been bowled by Watson.

Well he kicked it on trying to get it away from the stumps.

8-116

Hilfenhaus gets his 4th getting rid of Baugh for 23.

Lead is 159. Should really keep it below 175 which won't be an easy chase on this deck. Ball has been reversing for quite a while and it is only 43 overs old.

We will need to get off to a good start to chase this total down.

Watson just dropped a somewhat difficult chance off of Fidel Edwards off his own bowling.

One he will take 2-3 times out of 10 i would think.

Clarke just dropped a catch off Lyon's second ball.

One that he would catch.....................well probably never.

Mark Waugh may have been the only one to have caught that.

Oz "chasing" a total of 192. About as slowly as you could manage. Cowan is on 8 off 56 balls! Taking the shine off the ball is great, but not sure that he's read the game situation - Windies bowling 11 overs an hour, supposedly 43 overs to go, but light has stopped them all the other days and the Windies are in no hurry.

Lost Warner for 22. 1-52.
