Don't mind players chirping on the field but back it up for christ's sake, once at least.

At least (almost any other keeper in Aust) wouldn't have been an embarassment with his antics and he couldn't have done any worse with the bat than Crossthwaite.

Best one was when he was chirping with Shah. Clearly said "how did you get a contract mate, your sh*t" Ummmm Adam, you dont even have a state contract and Shah has played for his country????

FS, think you will find he has an automatic in because of the games he has played. He is bigger than the game mate, most, almost all players sledge, chirp or whatever but get on with the game, but no, not our Adam, he holds play up for half an hour and shows everyone that he is a big tough Victorian. Starc got him in a one dayer earlier in the year when he made 70 in 150 balls and cost us the game. FFS, you are not that good, shut the f... up. Just because Berry was a good sledger, he could also keep rather well, you are not in his class.

Now you are talking my language, time for a WK debate, bring it on. But I think the knockers should examine this past BBL, basically Manou was outstanding every time he kept, Crosswaite makes poor keeping look reasonable. Unfortunately Manou has not kept all year, just playing at Richmond as a batter, saving his energy for Tammie I think and that terrible show on Fox Sports - how bad is that by the way.

I've had a re think, some of the dribble that was posted after the Manou WK debate is some of the greatest rubbish I have seen on these forums, yup, that big. On song continues to haunt these forums with dribble.

So we have recruited a WK that averages low 20's, has a very big mouth, is clearly hated judged on last nights performance by all the players he played with and makes poor keeping look better than it actually is. Good work Coxy.

You mean the Northern Districts show? It's a neat little production for a grade club.

Manou was a One Innings wonder for all of his career. Mostly in the last 1 or 2 games of every year. What did the "Best glovemen in the comp" get SA in his time playing????
Crosthwaite is playing because Luderman is tripe, thats the reason. But to think Manou was a star is going way over board.

My point all along.
By no means do I believe Crosthwaite is the answer, or BETTER than Manou is any way.
For someone to say "how GOOD we had it with Manou" is a friggin oxymoron.
People are defending him like the sacred cow of SA cricket but in reality, he was the best of a bad bunch.

I would be chasing triffit if I was at saca. Tim Paine will come back and than triffit will lose his spot in the side

No more recruits, they need to start providing a product for the south Australian cricketing consumer. We have nothing. The redbacks (excl ferguson, Harris, George and putland) are just a team of left overs that is based in Adelaide not a representation of our state, they don't bleed for the baggy red and that is becoming a culture problem IMO. Darren Berry was all talk when he said he would be looking to develop our own talent pool, in fact he is always all talk, and I'm starting to think he is a dick. Total selection bias towards Victorians such as stray, cockwaite, Bryce mcshit, sal, muirhead etc I want a team that represents us, not a team that is just based here.
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

I've been waiting for the SACA to develop some players since the Bishop-Lehmann-Nobes-Blewett-Webber-May-Gillespie-Shane George-Harrity era (otherwise known as the 1990's).

I'm still waiting.

Is Davey better than Triffit? If so give him a go. If Triffit is a better player, get him instead.

Darren Berry has only just got here
Do we expect him to suddenly find a crop of district cricketers ready for action in the few months he has been in SA ?
Give the guy some slack please
Its 22/1/2012
If the same old is happening by 22/1/2014, then by all means raise the subject about locals v imports in his tenure
