This will probably bite me on the bottom

BUT

WHAT IS SMITH THINKING?????????

The ball is seaming all over the place and he brings the debutant spinner on after 14 overs.

BAD MOVE IMHO!

I reckon he would be thinking, just before lunch, debutant bowler, lets get him a bowl before the break and settle his nerves quicker. will go back to the seamers soon i would think

Just saw the replay of the two wickets, would have got anyone in the world out those balls, great bowling. Watto and Hughes couldnt do anything more than they did

Ponting out for 8
Only a maximum of 3 Test innings away from his last dig overseas
I wish he retired 2 years ago , when he was a champion batsman
His last 2 years have been average by his lofty standards
Its no disgrace to be beaten by age

Sachin has maintained his standards, Punter is a shadow of the batsman he used to be.

Between 18-30 years old I made 5 centuries in my career
Between 31-48 I made 0 centuries
Age will catch up with ALL cricketers eventually, whether it be 30 years or 40 years old or even 90 years old
Otherwise Dennis Lillie would still be taking the new ball against this South African team
And Bobby Simpson would be opening the batting in this current Test Match as well
