Been saying for a while he is an average keeper, probably 3rd or 4th in country. The best keeper is Paine by a mile, and hes a great bat aswell.

Jimbo, totally agree, I'd say he was better than average for a couple of years, been terrible keeping in the tests (despite what some people tried to say) and today he is having a absolute mare. Agree, bring in Mr Paine.

Late couple of 6's certainly helped, had KP hung about a little longer it probably would have been 310-320 but considering the late wickets, very happy with 294.

Smith gets 2/12 off 3 and doesnt get another go and lee bowls ok and doesnt get his full quota. Whats going on? I thought smith bowled decent enough to have a couple more at least.

Thought the same thing myself, actually thought it was the best Smith has bowled this summer, one must wonder if they go in to a game plan worked out before the game of who bowls when and stick to it regardless, wouldnt be the first time

Haddin couldn't do that as his foot is in his mouth.

I normally dont mind pups captaincy, he usually tries a few things and generally sets a good field.
Was just a bit suprised as i thought it was the best ive seen smith bowl and i would have liked to see him have a couple more

Would Ponting have bolwed Hussey for 3 overs before the 15 over mark and got the first 2 wickets?

Unlikely

Watson really gone into his shell as he approaches a 100.
Clarke would want to get a move on soon, striking at 50

No.
Good move by clarke but with the slower bowlers doing well and the quicks getting tonked, i though he might have kept smith on
