I think that any bias shown by the commentators is due to the fact that they aren't used for the feed to SkySports in England.

Of course you may say there was bias back when overseas networks used the Channel 9 commentary team as well as the pictures, but I don't remember what bias there may have been.

Watching the cricket on tv with a 2 sec delay on the radio is still better than enduring Ian Chappell.

It shouldn't really matter where its being streamed to, IMO sports in general should be commentated with as little bias as possible, I don't think there is any coincidence that Tony Greig was commentating when England wrapped up the Melbourne test.
''I can't think back to a time where Australia have been so convincingly beaten'' - Mark Taylor in regards to the 2010/11 Ashes series.

No it should not matter, correct. They probably use that as a license to use a bit of bias.

Gozu, great post, the Fox team are great, they spend all night taking the piss out of each other and manage to keep us up to date on the cricket. I think it has highlighted why Mark Waugh was never captain material.

The C 9 team talk cricket, cricket and more cricket, talk about over analysis, Warnie breath of fresh air, pension off the oldies.

But for real entertainment, tune in to ABC 891 when The Skull is on, you might not know the cricket score for an over or two, but pure entertainment, well done ABC.

Agree on that. Love the abc 891 commentary. Skull is great listening and has me in stitches. Jim maxwell is great and terry aldermans knowledge is top class, he gives a real insite into bowling. They always have a great array of overseas talent aswell. Jonathan agnew is great from the pommy perspective. Really loved the boycott interview at lunch yesterday. Sensational work abc. Quite often watch 9 and turn off volume and put abc on.

Totally agree Skull is gold on the radio, at times I'm pissing myself when listening to him.
I too like listening to the radio and having CH9 on mute, pity the radio is 5 sec ahead
