Congratulations to SACA, as you all know, I was very much a Manou admirer, but they have shafted Luderman big time. How could you expect the bloke to have any confidence at all, give him a contract, then bring in another blow in from interstate and give him the T/20 contract, then watch our bats fail dismally which put Luders on a hiding to nothing. Once again we have burnt someone, without putting accountability onto the batters. Absolute disgrace SACA once again.

What a load of rubbish.

Why wouldn't you want Crossy over in SA. Very good player, and in my eyes easily better than Luderman.

I want to push locals ahead of anyone, most definitely. But who could have gone in at the start of this season and kept the pressure on Ludeman that ultimately saw him out of the side? No one locally.

There's a couple of great young keepers around the place but first class/list A cricket this season would crush them. A gap-filler was needed, now the local youngsters have someone to chase and hopefully they can catch him in the next 12 months.

Let me think, cause you obviously didn't, does 1 hand 1 bounce count still, reason 1, had a very good run in Shield cricket and averaged 22 - reason 2, when they could have got Carters from Vic who will play second fiddle to Wade forever who can seriously bat - reason 3. Do you want me to go on. Do some research before you sprout rubbish on here. How you put him in the "very good player" category is beyond me, give me reason why you rate him as that, plus on what do you rate him better than Luderman, obviously Berry didn't at the start of the year, think he might know a thing or two about keeping.

Based on form he would have to be the first reserve batting option. Anyone have his Grade stats this year as well?

2 day cricket: 169 runs at 42.3 (HS 104*, 48*)
1 day cricket: 83 runs at 83 (HS 77*)

3 good innings, no others in double figures (9 innings in total).

Great win by the Young Redbacks, 2nd outright in a row.
Absolute mauling.
For the second game in a row a SA bowler claimed 10 wickets in a match, Haberfield last week and Teitjens this game.
Not sure if it means we have a good crop coming through or Tassie have nothing coming through.
To think that the leading run scorer and leading wicket taker from last match were not playing to have a couple of other guys step up was fantastic

Stray ahead of Thorton for me. I said in another thread that Stay was one to watch. He also scored a ton in the first futures game when Xwaite made 200 and then 99 in the second dig I believe.
