George bowling well to Sachin.
I'd like to see him get a little closer to the stumps though.

Agreed.
been a few comparisons with George and McGrath, probably the build being the same.
George is very raw though and it's showing this test.
I'd like to see him bowl at the GABBA or WACA this summer after a bit of work.

On another note - could this be the worst Australian bowling attack the great man has ever faced?

It's probably the worst Australian side he's faced, possibly with the exception of when he made his debut against us, but I'm not sure of the side that series.

Hmmm...I'd like to think Viv is a little closer to Sachin than daylight. Jack Hobbs was pretty darn good too.
But your first two rankings are spot on.

True i totally forgot about Viv, even though he was at the end of his career when i saw him he was one of my favourties. Yeah definatley not daylight between the two.

The best book about how to play cricket i ever read is the Viv Richards masterclass book, as a kid i read the book more than a hundred time had everything from facing fast bowlers to bowling leggies, went through the technical side and mental side of cricket brilliantly.
