Ton up for Pup, ditching Bingle certainly hasn't distracted him.

Well done to Clarke his first hundred as a single for a while :D .

Really good partnership this one.

Take a bow Pup =D>

It's one thing to perform in tough match conditions, but given the last few weeks it show some mental toughness to come out and perform, something he's been criticised for lacking.

Has there ever been a BATTER in the history of test cricket who has done more for BOWLERS averages than Chris Martin????

In 2 weeks time he becomes 29 years old
Today as a 28 year old he showed why he is a magnificent Test cricketer
100* [142]
Someone had to rise to the occasion with AU reeling with the loss of SAFOOTY icon Shane Watson due to injury
For a number 5 to average 50+ over almost 60 tests is a great career

AU 4/316
NORTH 52*[90]
Really stoked for Northy as well
Great work by the AU selectors to stick with him
Unlike PA who drop players after a bad game or two, AU gives thier players a chance to regain form
That instills confidence to the batsman in the long run

Great day for North and Pup, 2 players under pressure and did the job

MARTIN test batting
54 MATCHES
83 RUNS
2-24 AVERAGE

BOWLING tests
180 WICKETS
33-78 AVE

My only comment on Chris's career
He is an unlucky bowler
He cant bowl to himself

Agreed with all the comments on here, not only did he do it after all the turmoil he has been through but also did it when Australia were actually in a bit of trouble so he wins on both accounts. No wonder people say he is in line for the next Aust captain. Lets hope he goes on with it and doubles it

How quickly we forget. Lara was a great batsman :D

I just saw some highlights on the TV, the ground looked like a cow paddock. What was the pitch like?

Stock standard looking to me. Decent carry, bit of turn but not much at this stage, even bounce.
