2nd Test: India v Australia at Mohali

Ponting and Australia look out of ideas. If coming around the wicket and bowling short is the best they can come up, they are in for some long sessions in the field in the remaining tests. Why restrict yourself to only having one possible dismissal available - a catch from a mistimed hook or pull?

How about bowling tightly on or outside off stump with a couple of short catchers in place - at least this still gives the bowler a chance to hit the stumps or get an lbw as well as a catch.

The realityn of no McGrath and Warne is starting to hit home, unfortunately the Indians are not doing themselves any favours either, Aussies get in and commit to batting properly they will bat till well into day 4 on this pitch

Richard Ponting straight after lunch bowls WATTO/WHITE ....

Now 9/469

Khan runout for 2

White to Dhoni, no run, OUT, played to mid on looking for the single to regain the strike. Lee throws back to the keepers' end where Zaheer is short of his ground.

HAYDEN OUT FOR 0 b KHAN

Is he gunna suffer the Strauss syndrome ?
Andrew Strauss after a few poor umpiring decisions v AU lost all form
Matt the bat is now in the same boat ?
Ever since he greedily played in the IPL things have conspired against him

But the next time he gets a start he will KILL these bowlers [I hope]

KHAN has 42% of his wickets against left handers
Thats stunning

Rudi likes giving punter out LBW when he hits them doesn't he.

All out for 171, Vettori 55*

Vettori is an absolute star, just unlucky that he doesnt have any support from the rest of his team.
