Rofe gone, caught by Hussey at slip (know someone that will be happy)

S.A. all out for 320

Deitz, SA b:Harwood 30
Elliott, MTG c:Wade b:Siddle
Cosgrove, MJ lbw:McDonald 32
Ferguson, CJ b:McDonald 11
Christian, DT c:Hodge b:McDonald 1
Adcock, NT c:Hussey b:Wise 20
Manou, GA not out 105
Cleary, MF c:McDonald b:McGain 31
Harris, RJ c:Jewell b:McGain 14
Gillespie, JN lbw:Siddle 1
Rofe, PC c:Hussey b:McDonald 24

great performance by Manou and the tail with Cleary Harris and Rofe hanging in there, 320 a pretty good score in my opinion, need a couple of quick wickets from Dizzy and co to throw the pressure right on, just perhaps today Manou put his hand up a little higher for the captaincy
  next season

Yeah 320 is an acceptable score for us. Hopefully we take a few early wickets, need to get that dangerman D Hussey out early.

Last hours cricket by the redbacks has been sensational Hodge now in a couple more wickets in the closing over or two would be great but either way today we can put down as ours I would say

Embarrassingly I completely forgot about this game starting today! Busy with work and the gym but that's no excuse.

It was only when watching Fox Sports hoping for the overnight EPL goals that I saw we were going along alright. I decided to read this thread from the beginning and it seems topsy turvy so far but a brilliant last wicket partnership and two early wickets has set us up. No surprise to see us collapse though after the amazing start.

Manou! Wonderful ton under huge pressure and with just the one partner left. What a tremendous knock.
Harris did well with the bat but his two wickets are massive. Pity it wasn't a Hodge or Hussey in there.. we need to get them out cheap tomorrow.

Come on lads!

Great to get rid of the nightwatchman first ball. Too often they hang around and cause problems. Get Hodge and Hussey reasonably cheaply and we will roll the Vics one would think.

I know it was only 32 but it was the fifth time out of seven first innings this season that Herb has been the leading rungetter out of the top six.

"Brad Hodge will not bat today (but has not been retired hurt and may continue his innings later) as he takes compassionate leave to be with his wife. Hussey will replace him at the crease."
