-Australia has never lost more than three Test matches in a series in England.

-Australia has now lost six Test matches in a row for the first time since 1984.

-The worst Test losing streak by Australia is seven, almost 130 years ago.

-The 2nd Test was the second-worst runs defeat by Australia in history (347 runs), and the worst in England.

-The biggest runs-loss was 675 at the Exhibition Ground in Brisbane in 1928 before the Gabba began hosting Test cricket.

-Australia has only ever been whitewashed once in England, during a three-Test series in 1886.

Ok the 2nd test got blown out but you do know you only lost the first test by 14 runs? At the start of the series you were well behind England on paper (yes we all know it isn't played on paper) but to lose a test by 14 runs is a fair effort. Yes it's disguised by to 10th wicket partnerships making in excess of 350 but you reap what you sow you stuck with washed up cricketers for years leaving quality cricketers stale in the shield now you had a mass exit with no one to stand up.

You must play youth now and hope for the best.
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........
