Get a life and stop hating one of the few test cricket talents this country has. For a long time i have copped heat for being a Pup fan but he is a good player in an average team.
STOP BLAMING HIM.

Yep
Agree
Judge him on his exempilary Test Career
Please do not judge him on his futile 20/20 career

66 matches
108 digs
4640 runs
48.33 average
14 tons

Thats a good career for a guy batting mainly at 5
He has remained mainly a consistent and reliable cricketer

Wristwatcher is spot on it aint Clarkes fault that AU is miring into a southward capitualtion at Test level

Dismal, pathetic, soft, disgrace. Starts from the boss of Aussie cricket. You have bred players that think they can play without results and still get a game. Toughen the F**K UP.

Too bloomin' long - and I am still worried about the next three tests. Things can turn at any time and I am still backing Australia to win the Ashes. Thankfully, not with as much confidence as I had before though!

Christ,

Don't know about anyone else but I haven't had so many POMs wanting to talk cricket with me since:

1. Kylie was just an actress,
2. Fergie was sucking Prince Andrew's toes
3. Argentina had their “Hand” on the Soccer World Cup,
4. Maggie was saying that she could work with the new Soviet leader Gorbachev, and
5. Elton John was married to Renata.

Haven't they rediscovered their interest in the last two weeks....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I have no problems seeing the Poms enjoy their time in the sun.
Last time they were here it was 5-0 to Australia. What goes up, must come down unfortunately.
I'm just hoping for a better showing in the next 3 tests!

I just love these old pommy players and skippers having a go at how crap the aussies are.
Memo to atherton and hussain, instead of teeing off at the current aussies just remember the floggings you received and how you were both shit captains and players and part of the worst ashes teams ever

I can cop it from Atherton as he generally stood up against us and could play - especially his all day effort agaisnt Donald et al at Jo-burg in 1998. However Hussain was just a soft muppet who bar one ton against us in 97 at Edgebaston never produced. Soon as the pressure came on he resembled one of my grandma's turds after a day of prunes and liquorice
