Sensible decision to bat again.
Some people just dont understand the intricacies of Test cricket.

Not true, we had the foot on the throat, dont let them off.
The bowlers only had short spells, we would have had them a couple down by stumps.
If i was Sehwag i would be cheering that Australia is batting, no way did he want to bat tonight

We will win no matter what, if we bowled again today it just would have meant it would be over on day 4.
By batting again Clarkey is ensuring it goes to Day 5

So in December you wanted to retain a bloke who at that stage had played twice as many tests as Marsh, but had scored less Test runs and whose average was 10 runs below Marsh's (30 v 40). Interesting selection process.

Marsh has wasted this opportunity though, can't see him playing the next test.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Is it just me but are we starting to hand out standing ovations willy nilly, especially in the members area?? WTF giving Tendulkar a standing ovation for a scratchy 25 runs?? I means at 11:30 there was every chance we might have seen him again that afternoon!!

20 years ago you'd barely get a glance over The Advertiser broadsheet if a batsman got out in his 20s in the members.

You're confused I suspect ... the applause was for Johnny Haysman in his gumboots and speedos walking in front of the hill.

But in comparison Khawaja had actually performed at first class level to earn the opportunity to play Test cricket. Not sure whose c*ck Marsh has been sucking but what the f*ck has that dud ever done to get the chance to play Test cricket for Australia? The guy is even more useless than his father who people seen to remember fondly for some reason despite the fact that as a test cricketer he was no f*cking good.

Just for mal's sake, here i am and i believe that my long held feelings on Marsh as a Test cricketer have well and truly been justified now. If he can dominate at first class level then sure give him another go but his current record suggests that he simply is not good enough to do anything but slog in some hybrid form of the game that no-one gives a sh*t about.
