The rumour of Cossie coming back has been around a couple of weeks atleast, perhaps Trav knew he was coming back and decided that his chances may be limited here.
As many people on the other thread have said there doesnt look like there is a spot for Trav in that side. If he could guarantee game time elsewhere he would be silly not to atleast look into it

Or perhaps SACA hears whispers of Trav considering options from other states and decided to jump on the front foot and secure a ready made replacement in case he did go?

Don't forget that Chuck has also delivered a 20/20 title and a 50 over title during his time as coach. If a bit of luck went their way last season could well have turned out different in the shield
