Mennie did take a 7fa there last year IIRC

I honestly think Lyon shouldn't be picked for us even when he comes back from international duties. Bloke is seriously out of form

Our last 2 shield wins have come after we have been rolled for 55 and 112 in the 1st dig!

Raph deserves another go, well with Cooper tonning up and Hughes a cert to return, who do you drop?

Keep Cooper out another game IMO. Make him keep churning out district runs consistently instead of gifting a spot back just from one good hit.

If Tommy also gets futures runs then like Raff he should get back into the side.

Trav Head needs a first innings score. 2nd dig runs should only get you so far....

I just love how there seems to be rules of selection for Callum ferguson and then a different set for everyone else who plays for the redbacks.

His typical of the standard Crows type supporters love and affection. His the pin up golden boy who is always seen to be done hard by national selectors. He finally hits a ton and all a sudden it's all over the media and talk back radio people calling for his test selection.

We have seen many cricketers come and go int last five years with much better first class records than him. Cooper is a prime example, yes his in a form slump but no worse than ferguson the last five years. All of a sudden he must hit a truck load of runs in grade cricket.

I don't have a problem with ferg I just wish the adulation and cricket god like status he has in this state was earnt on performances.

I tend to agree with you whufc, he does not do enough with the ability he possesses and he tends to get spoken about for national duties far too often. I would like him to string a full season or two together before he gets a baggy green.

This says a lot more about our lack of batting depth at the moment nationally than anything to do with a Crows like idolisation of an inconsistent performer.
