SACA backed into a corner re previous decisions......2 year of 2 year deal, won't play a game IMO.

i assume ludeman is the same, he was third choice keeper by the end of last season and he is the only keeper with a contract this year

Correct

Also well done to Trav Head on being named in the U19 Australian Squad for the second year in a row.

That makes sense.

Ludeman will play at some time this year IMO. If Davey was to be injured (discounting Ludeman) would would be next in line? Keeper from Adelaide?

My first 11

Klinger
Hughes
Cooper
Ferguson
Head
Christian
Botha
Davey
Mennie
Putland
George

Putting that together, I got to 4 and had no more seasoned batsmen. God help us if they get injuries, Smith is next. Lyon not included, bonus only now
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

I think you will find that who has a contract means little. Pre season form will determine who takes the gloves. Raph, Davey, Carey and Ludeman all training with the squad

I'd have Head at 6 and Christian at 5, Christian is a much better batsman than Head, no point wasting him with the tail.

FS, certainly hope not, let the lad settle into a team with now some experience around, he should bat 6 for the season, unless of course he scores big and others not. Think Bailey & Luderman are back end pre Berry deals, done by Mr Cox, Davey to old for rookie, Cricket Aus not like AFL, they have age limit on rookie.

Well for starters Woodville's keeper Tim Cameron whilst a good gloveman, bats 11 at club level and I think is on the wrong side of 30 so he probably isn't going to play at that level.

For the other 5 well they must be just plain garbage.... ;)

3 v 6 is about 15 minutes difference for the Redbacks.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.
