STRAUSS ton
COOK double ton
TROTT ton

Roger Verdouras[spelling ?] once sang a lyric
"" You better get used to it.""
Yep we better to used to it being a long long summer bowling at these English batsman
Unless Rhino and Rug get fit or Warney and Benaud make comebacks
So far this Test EG 11/700 +

All the Curators fault.
Flat roads like this is killing Test cricket.
How can there be so much difference in the pitches at the Gabba for Shield matches than Test matches?
We see Shield matches lasting 2 - 3 days and then see roads like this for a Test match.

England will go to the Adelaide test with huge amount of confidence. Aussies just dont seem to have a bowling attack that can get teams out twice.

I can see England Declaring about 1 hr before stumps and hopefully we can bat out for a draw

How's this for a damming stat?

from cricinfo

Agree re North. Lovely bloke, but one of my colleagues in the Aussie media, Jesse Hogan, pulled out a brilliant stat the other day. In innings where he's come to the crease with less than 150 on the board, North averages 6!

Being a bit harsh on North IMO, hell he is our leading wicket taker in this innings ;)

And that is why they'll retain him for Adelaide.

That stat is correct. If aus are 150+ when north comes in he averages 55. If they are below 150 it is 5.6. FRONTRUNNER

The poms are just taking the piss now....they want to grind us into the dirt and fair enough, but I would now respond with bowling Hussey and Punter for the rest of the day. Why bowl our front liners when we have a 3 day turnaround to the 2nd test?
