Agree re Pope. Got few wickets caught to terrible shots to half trackers, typical spinners wickets.

And thought couple of the LBW decisions were dubious.

Typical media getting way ahead of themselves and putting undue pressure on young players.

Those in the know what's Pope's stock leg spinner like? Judging from what I've seen & heard is wrong-un is his strike weapon. If he has a quality normal leggie he will succeed but if he solely relies on his wrong-un will he eventually be found out a little easier?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

His leggie is improving but is not as dangerous as his wrong un at this stage

Thing I like about Pope is he gets nice bounce on all of his deliveries, much more fizz than Zampa (who must be wondering whats going to happen when he returns home)

Never rated Zampa in red ball cricket, saw him early on and he had flaws then which he has eradicated few of. He's a crap Anil Kumble.

Sad news

But glad this is getting recognised and the pressure to play through the illness isn’t being forced.

Didn’t he take time off last year due to being struck in the head a couple of times?

People need to calm down with the 'Harris next in line'. The bloke averages in the low-mid 30's in FC cricket. He's not a Marsh FFS.
