I couldn't find any dates mate but I read on the Frank Worrall Trophy Wikipedia page that the next series will be in 2018.Corona Man wrote:TDK, you may know. When do the Aussies next play in the Caribbean? Just did a search found nothing. 2018 by any chance?

The Aussies play South Africa in a test series from the 1st of March to the 3rd of April so I'm guessing the tour to the West Indies won't be long after that.

Cheers mate yes I found the South Africa tour. I'm looking way ahead here but I'm in line to be in the USA in September next year. Tempting to head down to the Windows for a look if the dates work out!

Yes, couldn't believe when I read Rahim elected to bowl first. Unless it's a green top it's always a very bold move (and more times than not a stupid decision) to send the home team in.Jack wrote:Brodlach wrote:Bangers
Nearly always a tough ask for a subcontinent side to win batting last in away non sub continent tests
It certainly ended up being so in this First test
Bangladesh need to learn from this.
Perhaps win the toss and not send in South Africa in future matches would be a help

The Banger boys have the world class spinners but I think their fast bowling depth was massively exposed this test. The Dark Knight wrote:Yes, couldn't believe when I read Rahim elected to bowl first. Maharaja with 4/25 in the Bangladeshi second innings. He has been a great find for the Saffers, continually picking up multiple wickets whilst being a great foil for their quicks.

Yeah watching the start South Africa's first innings you could tell they weren't going to trouble the batsman at all. Made life easy for Aiden Markram being on debut.heater31 wrote:The Banger boys have the world class spinners but I think their fast bowling depth was massively exposed this test. The Dark Knight wrote:Yes, couldn't believe when I read Rahim elected to bowl first.
