Yep and playing on the front foot, gets a decent stride in.
Too many of our guys play off the back foot and try to hit against the spin and when they ball stays low they get trapped infront. Way too many LBW's for my liking

How's he scoring?
Any sweep shots?

Late cuts. A few pull shots from short balls from spinners.

Make them come back tomorrow, knock over the openers cheap. Get something out of the game.

Ball was turning a mile and they take the new ball, seems a strange choice

I reckon the umpire gets paid per day. Lyon was plumb. The umpire wants to come back tomorrow.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Henriques has been very good on debut.

If the next pitch is similar to this then maxwell and doherty might both come in next game and siddle and starc may miss out.

Hopefully not Maxwell, would rather Smith.
Our batting is fragile enough now without weakening it even more by bringing in that spud

I think they will play Maxwell for his bowling more so and bat him at 8 Pattinson at 9 Lyon 10 and Doherty 11.

Smith for Watson and Doherty for Siddle. Would be happy to use any 5 of the fast bowlers on tour for the 2 pace bowling spots.

I think Watson's relevance to Australian Test cricket has nose-dived with Henriques performance in this match.

Would have, could have, should have ... imagine if the curry munchers only had a 1st innings lead of 50, which was very possible when they were 8 down.

Yep, 3rd session Day 3 was where the match was won/lost in this Test match. Dhoni did a Gilchrist.

Terrible

We can't keep Wade at six for this series. He has no idea against spin. Out of all the batsmen to be embarrassed by Henriques and Lyon, Wade has the most to be embarrassed about. You may recall he did the exact same thing against the Lankans...can't score so I'll sweep a straight one.

Ridiculous!
