Thought Australia dont like that.

Hussey must have opted not to bat which is fair enough but would not want Siddle to go out tonight now.

If i was South African coach or supporters this is the Dale Steyn i want to see more off, angry, quick and passionate.

Nah Ponting didn't like it. Clarke does, but I probably would have been hussey's choice

After watching Test cricket for the best part of 40 years, I will never, ever get the logic of a night watchman.

Bill Lawry

"What a great session by Graeme Smith" WTF? He brought on his bowlers too late, gave Ricky Ponting 15 free runs by bowling Tahir.

I dont mind Smith as a captain but it hasnt been a "great" session

Just tried to explain a nightwatchmen to the misses.

Her response "isn't Hussey a better batsmen than Siddle if Husseys gonna get out wont Siddle"

Siddle then gets out

"So Hussey comes in now, did we just waste a batsmen"

Can't really argue with that

lost 5/43 on a third day Adelaide Oval wicket, one thinks has more to do with the attitude than the wicket

You can always argue with the missus but you can never win ;)
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Yes sad to see.
He must not be allowed to go to England next year.
Give him a farewell game in Perth and then give an incoming player the 3 tests against the Lankans to get acclimatised

That was my point. When punter was captain Australia hardly ever had night watchman. But Clarke likes using them

Dont have an issue with a nightwatchman if there is only an over or two to go, the light is fading and the pitch is a minefield. None of these apply at Adelaide so Huss should have batted
