Opened the bowling.. bowled 3 spells, 10 overs all up. Was only allowed to bowl 10 overs Sat & 10 overs Sunday (one day game that was cancelled)..

Took 0/30 odd off 10 on Sat

Stuffed that one up. Should've checked my facts. I just assumed that the Richardson that was bowling was his brother. Didn't notice 2 of them in the bowling figures.

Richo needs to be in the side if fit.

He will add a lot more than any shizenhousen spinner, If you don't have a good enough spinner.

don't pick one.

How Putland didn't play in the shield game I have NFI.

Blizzard leading run scorer in the shield for sa last year. Has played 2 games this year.

Has been replaced by nothings getting 10s - 20s. Has been in Ok form ala Smith before he was promoted.

Fair enough. I saw him bowling out the back in the nets most days thats all.

For me. We need to look at adding a quality spinner. wicket keeper , and another quick to the spaud for next year.

Targets for me.
Wicketkeeper : Triffitt (Tassie) will get dropped when paine is fit
Carters (vic) very good cricketer who is playing second fiddle to wade

Spinner : Okeefe (NSW) with Hauritz Smith Doran always competing for spots
Krejza (Tas) if he wants to play 4 day cricket . currently 2nd fiddle behind doherty.

Quicks : Ryan harris (QLD) come home factor
Steven Magoffin (WA/QLD) not getting a look in up in qld

Forget him, Tim Paine is likely not to play first class cricket again as a keeper.

O'Keefe is captain of NSW and maybe a chance for national selection. He isnt going anywhere.
Would be chasing Nevill as keeper.
Paine probably wont keep ever again so Triffett will be first choice at Tas, Carters will be number 1 at Vic when Wade plays for Aus. Haddin will go back to NSW and maybe force Nevill out.

Paine's injury will prevent him from keeping ever again. Wade will replace Haddin.
Pretty sure O'Keefe is captain but he missed a few games through injury and Rohrer took over

Cam williams is quality and WILL play at a very high level later on.

He had a drop catch second over and if that was taken his tail would have been up and you would have seen a different bowler. but it wasnt his day and quiney saw it like a beach ball.

Did people look at his figures in the futures games he bowled well in all of them and deserved a go.

To the bloke who wrote about him playing C grade by the end of the year you KIDDING yourself he is one of the hardest blokes to face when he is on, he bowls really
good variation and gives the ball a real rip out the hand.

For a bloke thats only 20 years old people are ripping on him pretty hard about his talent... he hasnt had the best year and people know this but he is definately up to this standard and will be good for SA in the long run.

Heres a question to everyone say he is puss how many have actually faced him?

When you take bugger all wickets during the season and go for over 5 an over you have a very long way to go.

Can't believe that the SACA selectors plucked him from Northern's 2s and expected him to perform.

Didn't fare much better in the futures game against Qld and reportedly missed the next game against Victoria for disciplinary reasons.

Pretty easy to hit waist high full tosses. He has a very long way to go before the selectors should even consider him for a second XI game
