Yeah injury only swamp! He has had shoulder, thumb and now Achilles injuries in a month! I don't think he will get up for Perth.

I think it was a bizarre declaration, if they didn't do it overnight they would've been better off slapping their way to 700, it would've sapped the Aussies confidence and morale, it probably would've put the run chase just that little bit out of reach. They now run the risk of having to bat again.
