Misbah-ul-Haq has two very different batting averages:
Non-captain: 33.60
Captain: 80.00 (not including his ongoing 83*)

Is this just about the biggest captain/non-captain batting average discrepancy?

Maybe because the Aussies give him a decent total to defend, when he bowls for the Redbacks he is only defending a pitifull target.
